Scene 1 - Outside the Stage Door of a London Theatre: The poor Flower Girl trying in vain to sell her flowers, wishes that she had a dress and could dance like the girl on the poster, she grows weary and falls asleep and dreams

Scene II - On the Stage at the same Theatre (Dream Sequence): The Coprs de Ballet are seen rehearsing with Madame Clarissa, when suddenly the Flower Girl finds herself there and she dances joyously with them until they discover her and chase her away.

Scene III - Outside the Stage Door again: The Flower Girl awakes to find it was all a dream, and we leave her sadly trying to sell her flowers once again.
